As users demand an easier and more convenient interface for gaining access to a system, it is required to have a system between a PC and devices in order to carry out and manage communication between them For this, our MMU-L provides two main functions.
First, MMU-L plays the role of a communication gateway between PC-based administration tools (TCP/IP) and lighting control devices (Lonworks). First, MMU-L plays the role of a communication gateway between PC-based MMI(TCP/IP) and lighting control devices (Lonworks).
Second, MMU-L stores and operates various data set by users. At the sublevel of MMU-L, LCM, PSW, Sensor and i.Node DI8 are installed to exchange information.
It exchanges relay feedback information or control commands with LCM, receives inputs for the switches via the 2Wire-linked power communication between PSW, or exchange feedbacks information regarding the state of switch LED . As there is Real-time clock (RTC) embedded inside MMU-L, scheduling control can be handled independently without the need for inserting an additional schedule device.
